Marreese Speights, born on August 4, 1987, in St. Petersburg, Florida, is a former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Florida Gators, where he was an integral part of the team that won the NCAA Championship in 2006. After declaring for the NBA Draft, Speights was selected 16th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2008.
