Biography
Martin Nečas is a professional ice hockey player from the Czech Republic, born on January 15, 1999, in Břeclav. A talented forward, he was selected in the first round, 12th overall, by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He began his career in the Czech junior leagues before moving to North America to further develop his skills.
Nečas played major junior hockey with the Charlotte Checkers in the American Hockey League (AHL), where he contributed significantly to the team's success by helping them secure the Calder Cup in 2019.
