Marty Schottenheimer, born on September 23, 1943, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, was an esteemed professional American football linebacker and coach renowned for his strategic acumen in the NFL. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh before being selected in the 1965 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills, where he began his professional career.
