Marty Sertich, born on October 13, 1982, in Roseville, Michigan, is a retired American ice hockey player known for his skill as a forward. He played collegiate hockey at Colorado College, where he achieved significant success, contributing to the team's strong performance in the NCAA tournaments. Sertich's outstanding play during the 2005-2006 season earned him the prestigious Hobey Baker Award, given annually to the top player in college hockey.
Following his collegiate career, Sertich was selected in the second round (45th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars. He made his professional debut in the American Hockey League (AHL), playing for the Iowa Stars and later for the Houston Aeros.
