Biography
Mathieu Darche, born on November 26, 1976, in Montreal, Quebec, is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his tenacity and versatility on the ice. After playing junior hockey in the QMJHL for the Longueuil Chevaliers, he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 7th round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Darche went on to play in the National Hockey League (NHL) for several teams, including the Lightning, New York Rangers, Calgary Flames, and the Nashville Predators.
Over the course of his NHL career, which spanned over a decade, Darche appeared in more than 200 regular-season games and contributed significantly as a reliable forward.
