Biography
Matthew "Matt" Corrente (born March 17, 1988) is a Canadian ice hockey player known for his role as a defenseman. Selected in the second round, 30th overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils, Corrente began his professional career with the team in 2009 after developing his skills within the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he played for the Saginaw Spirit and the Windsor Spitfires.
During his time in the NHL, Corrente played primarily for the New Jersey Devils, as well as spending time with minor league teams such as the Albany Devils in the American Hockey League (AHL). Known for his physical play and defensive prowess, he contributed to the development of young talent while showcasing his abilities at the professional level.
After his time in the NHL, Corrente continued to play professionally in various leagues, including international competitions.
