Biography
Matt Francis, born on September 27, 1985, in Toronto, Ontario, is a Canadian ice hockey athlete recognized for his contributions to both junior and professional hockey. He began his career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he played for the Sarnia Sting. His tenure in the OHL showcased his skills as a forward, leading to recognition as a promising player eligible for the NHL Draft.
After being selected in the 4th round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators, Francis made his professional debut in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Milwaukee Admirals.
