Matt Kinch, born on February 17, 1980, in Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey defenseman. Kinch played junior hockey with the Kingston Frontenacs in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he showcased his skills and earned recognition as a strong two-way player. Following his junior career, he was selected 185th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
