Matt Read, born on June 14, 1986, in Ilderton, Ontario, Canada, is a professional ice hockey forward known for his offensive skills and versatility on the ice. Read played junior hockey with the Ilderton Jets before embarking on a collegiate career at Bemidji State University, where he showcased his talents and earned a reputation as a reliable scorer. Following his successful NCAA tenure, he entered the professional ranks, joining the NHL as a free agent.
