Matthew Stajan is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada, born on December 19, 1983, in Mississauga, Ontario. He was selected in the second round, 57th overall, by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft after a standout junior career with the Belleville Bulls in the OHL. Stajan made his NHL debut during the 2003-04 season and quickly established himself as a reliable two-way forward.
