Matt Watkins is a Canadian ice hockey player born on November 22, 1986, in Wilcox, Saskatchewan. He played junior hockey with the Regina Pats in the Western Hockey League (WHL) before being drafted 155th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Atlanta Thrashers. Throughout his career, Watkins exhibited versatility and resilience, contributing to various teams in multiple professional leagues.
Watkins made his professional debut with the Chicago Wolves in 2009, where he helped the team secure a Calder Cup championship in 2011.
