Biography
Max Veronneau, born on December 12, 1995, in Ottawa, Ontario, is a Canadian professional ice hockey player known for his agility and scoring ability as a forward. He played junior hockey with the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he showcased his skills over three seasons. Veronneau’s standout performance in the OHL resulted in a significant increase in his draft stock, culminating in his signing as an undrafted free agent with the NHL's Ottawa Senators in 2019.
Following his OHL career, Veronneau attended Princeton University, where he further developed his game in the NCAA. During his collegiate career, he earned multiple accolades, including being named to the ECAC Hockey All-League Team, and finished his university tenure as one of the team’s top scorers. After his collegiate success, the Ottawa Senators signed him to a two-year entry-level contract, marking the transition to his professional career.
