Maxim Lapierre is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player, born on March 29, 1985, in Gatineau, Quebec. He was drafted 61st overall by the New York Rangers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft after a successful junior career with the Gatineau Olympiques in the QMJHL. Lapierre made his NHL debut with the Montreal Canadiens in the 2007-08 season, where he quickly established himself as a reliable two-way forward.
