Biography
Mel Bratton, born on February 2, 1965, is a former professional American football player who played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Miami, where he was a standout performer on the college football team, earning recognition for his speed and versatility. Bratton was selected in the 12th round of the 1989 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
Over the course of his NFL career, Bratton played for the New York Jets and the San Francisco 49ers.
