Melissa Washington is a former professional basketball player known for her exceptional skills as a guard in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). Born on March 12, 1989, in Seattle, Washington, she attended the University of Washington, where she garnered All-Pac-12 honors and led her team to multiple NCAA tournament appearances. Washington was selected as the 15th overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.
During her WNBA career, Washington played for the Sparks and later the New York Liberty, making significant contributions to her teams with her versatility and keen basketball IQ.
