Michael Benning is a professional ice hockey defenseman born on March 2, 2001, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Known for his strong skating ability and offensive acumen, Benning began his junior career with the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) before making the transition to collegiate hockey with the University of Denver Pioneers.
