Michael Carbajal, born on September 17, 1967, in Phoenix, Arizona, is a retired American boxer who competed in the flyweight division. Carbajal gained prominence in the boxing world in the early 1990s, becoming known for his skillful boxing style and exceptional speed. He began his professional career in 1989 and quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing his talent in the ring.
In 1990, Carbajal won the IBF (International Boxing Federation) flyweight title by defeating the reigning champion, and he later unified the title in a celebrated bout against WBC (World Boxing Council) champion, Jorge Arce, in 1993.
