Michael Griffin, born on January 4, 1985, in Austin, Texas, is a former professional American football safety who played in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he had a distinguished college career, earning consensus All-American honors in 2006. Griffin was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft as the 19th overall pick.
During his tenure with the Titans, which spanned from 2007 to 2016, Griffin became known for his versatility and playmaking ability.
