Michael Mersch, born on October 2, 1992, in Park Ridge, Illinois, is a professional ice hockey player from the United States. He played junior hockey in the United States Hockey League (USHL) before advancing to collegiate competition with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he showcased his scoring abilities and leadership skills. Mersch was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the fourth round, 110th overall, of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Mersch began his professional career in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Manchester Monarchs after completing his college career in 2014. He quickly made an impact by contributing significantly to the team's offense and was pivotal in their success, including winning the Calder Cup in 2015.
