Michal Neuvirth, born on March 23, 1988, in Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic, is a former professional ice hockey goaltender known for his agility and competitive spirit. Drafted in the second round, 34th overall, by the Washington Capitals in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, Neuvirth quickly established himself as a promising talent in the league. He made his NHL debut with the Capitals in the 2009-2010 season and played a pivotal role in their postseason run.
