Michel Mongeau, born on February 9, 1965, in Canada, is a former professional ice hockey forward known for his versatile playing style and scoring ability. He began his career in junior hockey with the Granby Bisons and quickly made a name for himself, earning the QMJHL Rookie of the Year award in 1982. Mongeau was selected 41st overall in the 1983 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens.
