Mick Vukota, born on September 14, 1966, in Wawa, Ontario, Canada, is a retired professional ice hockey player renowned for his role as an enforcer in the National Hockey League (NHL). Vukota was drafted 103rd overall by the New York Islanders in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut during the 1985-86 season. He played a total of 116 NHL games, primarily with the Islanders, and also had stints with the Minnesota North Stars and the Quebec Nordiques.
Throughout his career, Vukota became known for his physical style of play and was often called upon to protect teammates and deter opposing players.
