Mike Christian is a former professional basketball player, known for his impactful career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on September 1, 1963, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Christian played college basketball at the University of Georgia, where he gained recognition for his scoring ability and athleticism, ultimately leading to his selection in the 1985 NBA Draft.
Christian was selected as the 20th overall pick by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1985 NBA Draft. During his seven-season NBA career, he also played for the Sacramento Kings and the New Jersey Nets. Known for his versatile scoring and sharp shooting, he averaged 12.3 points per game over his career, achieving a best season average of 16.5 points per game in 1988-89 with the Kings.
