Mike Comrie, born on September 11, 1980, in Edmonton, Alberta, is a former professional ice hockey player from Canada. A center, he was drafted in the third round, 99th overall, by the Ottawa Senators in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Comrie's junior career included a standout tenure with the Edmonton Oil Kings in the Western Hockey League before transitioning to the National Hockey League (NHL).
Comrie made his NHL debut during the 2000-01 season and went on to play for several teams, including the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, Phoenix Coyotes, New York Islanders, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He achieved notable success with the Coyotes, where he had his best statistical season in 2001-02, recording 33 goals and 32 assists.
