Biography
Mike Dunham, born on June 1, 1972, in Elmira, New York, is a former professional ice hockey goaltender from the United States. He played college hockey at the University of Maine, where he contributed to the team's NCAA Championship victory in 1993. Dunham was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the sixth round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft.
Dunham made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut with the New Jersey Devils in the 1996-97 season and went on to play for several teams, including the New York Islanders, Atlanta Thrashers, and Nashville Predators. Over his career, he played a total of 159 NHL games, achieving a respectable goals-against average and a career-high of 30 wins in the 2001-02 season. He was known for his strong positional play and athleticism, which earned him recognition in a league dominated by larger goaltenders.
