Mike Farley is a retired professional basketball player who gained recognition for his exceptional skills as a shooting guard in both collegiate and professional leagues. Born on January 15, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, Farley attended Duke University, where he was a key player on the men's basketball team, leading them to an NCAA Championship in 2006. Over his collegiate career, he was named to the All-ACC First Team twice before declaring for the NBA Draft.
Farley was selected as the 18th overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 NBA Draft, making an immediate impact in the league. During his professional career, he played for several teams including the Lakers, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Miami Heat, contributing to a total of three NBA Championships. Known for his sharpshooting ability and defensive prowess, Farley averaged 15.2 points per game throughout his 10-year career, earning NBA All-Star honors in 2011.
