Mike Golic, born on December 12, 1962, in Willowick, Ohio, is a former National Football League (NFL) defensive lineman and a prominent sports media personality. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he was part of the 1988 national championship team. Golic was selected by the Houston Oilers in the 10th round of the 1985 NFL Draft and subsequently played for the Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Miami Dolphins during his professional career.
