Mike Harrigan is a former professional basketball player born on March 15, 1985, in Chicago, Illinois. He played as a point guard and gained prominence in college basketball while representing the University of Illinois, where he became known for his exceptional ball-handling skills and court vision. Harrigan was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks.
During his five-year career in the National Basketball Association (NBA), Harrigan showcased his talents with the Atlanta Hawks and later with the New Orleans Pelicans. He was instrumental in leading the Hawks to the playoffs in 2010, averaging over 12 points and 5 assists per game during that season. In addition to his NBA achievements, Harrigan also played internationally in several leagues, contributing significantly to his teams' successes abroad.
