Mike Komisarek is a former professional ice hockey defenseman from the United States, born on January 19, 1982, in Islip, New York. Drafted seventh overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Komisarek quickly established himself as a physical player known for his defensive prowess.
