Mike Maxwell is a former professional American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) from 1995 to 2006. He was born on July 12, 1972, in Santa Clara, California. Maxwell played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned All-Pac-10 honors before being selected in the third round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles.
During his tenure in the NFL, Maxwell played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets, distinguishing himself as a formidable defensive player.
