Mike Pouncey, born on July 24, 1989, in Negreet, Louisiana, is a former professional American football player who played center in the National Football League (NFL). Pouncey attended the University of Florida, where he was a key contributor to the Gators' successful 2008 season, culminating in a national championship. Following his collegiate career, he was selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, marking the beginning of a noteworthy professional tenure.
