Mike Ricci, born on October 27, 1971, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional ice hockey player known for his tenacious playing style and versatility on the ice. Ricci was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the second round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft after a successful junior career with the OHL's Oshawa Generals. He made his NHL debut during the 1992-93 season and quickly established himself as a reliable two-way forward.
