Mike Vanderjagt, born on March 24, 1970, in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, is a former professional American football placekicker, recognized for his precision kicking in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Western Ontario, where he garnered attention for his strong leg and accuracy. Vanderjagt entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 1998, signing with the Indianapolis Colts.
Over his seven-year tenure with the Colts, Vanderjagt became known for his remarkable consistency, leading the league in field goal percentage during multiple seasons.
