Mike Warren, born on September 26, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa, is a former professional basketball player who gained prominence in the sport during the 1960s. He played collegiate basketball at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) under legendary coach John Wooden, where he was part of the championship-winning teams that secured the NCAA title in 1967 and 1968. Warren's exceptional skills as a point guard and shooting guard contributed to UCLA's dominance in college basketball during this period.
In the 1970 NBA Draft, Warren was selected in the first round as the 18th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers. He played six seasons in the NBA, representing teams including the 76ers, the Baltimore Bullets, and the New Orleans Jazz.
