Mikhail Grabovski, born on January 31, 1984, in Potsdam, East Germany, is a retired professional ice hockey player from Belarus. He began his career in the Belarusian league before moving to North America, where he was selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the fifth round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Grabovski made his NHL debut with the Canadiens in 2007 and later gained prominence as a skilled forward known for his speed and offensive creativity.
During his NHL career, Grabovski played for several teams, including the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Washington Capitals, and New York Islanders. His most notable stint was with the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he achieved a career-high of 23 goals and 48 points during the 2011-2012 season, solidifying his reputation as a top-six forward. Grabovski was also known for his contributions to the Belarusian national team, representing his country in multiple World Championships and the 2010 Winter Olympics.
