Milan Kopecký, born on May 11, 1981, in Pardubice, Czech Republic, is a retired professional ice hockey player known for his contributions to multiple teams in European leagues and the National Hockey League (NHL). A skilled forward, Kopecký began his career in the Czech Extraliga where he played for HC Pardubice before making the transition to North America in the early 2000s. He was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 6th round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, setting the stage for his subsequent career.
Throughout his NHL tenure, Kopecký played for several teams, including the Atlanta Thrashers, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Florida Panthers.
