Biography
Milan Kraft, born on January 17, 1980, in Plzeň, Czech Republic, is a retired professional ice hockey forward known for his contributions to both Czech and international hockey. Drafted 23rd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, Kraft showcased his skills primarily in the NHL, as well as in European leagues. His playing style combined speed and technical proficiency, making him a valuable asset on the ice.
Kraft began his professional career with HC Plzeň 1929 before moving to the NHL, where he played a significant role with the Penguins from the 2000-01 season until 2003. During his tenure in North America, he appeared in over 100 NHL games and contributed to the Penguins’ offense. Following his time in the NHL, he returned to Europe, where he had successful stints with various clubs, including HC Znojemští Orli and HC Karlovy Vary in the Czech Republic.
