Milan Lučić, born on June 7, 1988, in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a professional ice hockey player known for his physical style of play and leadership qualities. A product of the junior hockey system, Lučić played for the Vancouver Giants in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he helped the team secure the Memorial Cup in 2007. He was selected by the Boston Bruins in the second round, 50th overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Lučić made his NHL debut with the Bruins in the 2007-08 season and quickly established himself as a power forward.
