Biography
Milton Marcus is a former professional American football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. Born on July 15, 1980, in Dallas, Texas, he attended the University of Alabama, where he became a standout player, earning All-Conference honors and leading his team in receiving yards during his junior and senior seasons. Marcus was selected in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons.
Throughout his NFL career, which spanned from 2002 to 2013, Marcus played for multiple teams, including the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, and New York Giants. He was known for his speed and agility, accumulating over 7,000 receiving yards and scoring 54 touchdown receptions. Marcus achieved notable success during the 2006 season when he was selected to his first and only Pro Bowl after recording a career-high 1,300 receiving yards.
After his retirement from professional football, Marcus transitioned into coaching and mentoring young athletes, focusing on developing skills and promoting sportsmanship.
