Mónica Puig, born on September 27, 1993, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a professional tennis player who represents the United States in international competitions. She turned professional in 2010 and quickly established herself on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tour. Puig is particularly known for her strong baseline play and competitive spirit.
