Morris Claiborne, born on February 7, 1990, in Shreveport, Louisiana, is a former professional American football cornerback. He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he gained national prominence as a standout defensive player, earning the 2011 Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s best defensive back. Claiborne was selected by the Dallas Cowboys with the sixth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, marking a significant milestone in his football career.
During his time with the Cowboys, Claiborne established himself as a key player in the secondary, known for his coverage skills and ball-hawking ability.
