Mya Moore, born June 11, 1989, in Jefferson City, Missouri, is a prominent American professional basketball player known for her exceptional skills on the court. A standout at the University of Connecticut, she led the Huskies to two NCAA championships in 2009 and 2010, earning numerous accolades, including the Naismith College Player of the Year and the Wade Trophy. After being selected first overall in the 2011 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx, Moore quickly established herself as one of the league's premier players.
