Biography
Myron Lipes is a former professional American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was born on August 15, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri. After a standout college career at the University of Missouri, Lipes was selected in the 1980 NFL Draft.
Lipes played for the New York Jets, where he quickly established himself as a key contributor on defense. Throughout his four seasons in the league, he was known for his tenacity and ability to read plays, amassing over 250 combined tackles and several sacks.
