Napoleon Harris was born on February 25, 1979, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended the University of Illinois, where he played college football as a linebacker and gained recognition for his athleticism and leadership on the field. Harris was selected in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders, marking the beginning of a professional career that would span over six seasons.
During his time in the NFL, Harris played for the Oakland Raiders, Chicago Bears, and the Minnesota Vikings.
