Natalie Novotna is a retired professional tennis player from the Czech Republic, renowned for her accomplishments on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour during the 1990s. Born on July 2, 1968, in Litoměřice, she began her professional career in the late 1980s, quickly establishing herself as a formidable competitor. Novotna achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 4 in November 1998.
Throughout her career, Novotna secured a total of 16 WTA singles titles and 6 doubles titles, capturing the Wimbledon singles title in 1998, which marked a significant milestone in her career. Her performance at Grand Slam events also included reaching the finals of the Australian Open and the French Open, showcasing her versatility across different playing surfaces.
