Biography
Nathan Longpre, born on June 16, 1988, in Canada, is a former professional ice hockey forward known for his scoring ability and work ethic on the ice. He was drafted in the 7th round, 204th overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Longpre developed his skills in the junior leagues, ultimately playing for the Omaha Lancers in the United States Hockey League (USHL) before moving on to collegiate hockey at Ferris State University.
Throughout his professional career, Longpre played for several minor league teams, including the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL.
