Natrone Brooks is a former professional American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) primarily during the 1990s. He was born on February 22, 1973, in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Brooks attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a standout player, earning All-ACC honors and showcasing his abilities that would lead him to the professional ranks.
Brooks was selected as the 97th overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He quickly became a key player for the franchise, notably leading the team in rushing yards during their inaugural season and finishing the 1996 season with over 1,000 rushing yards. Throughout his NFL career, Brooks also played for the San Diego Chargers and the New England Patriots, achieving a career-high total of 1,400 rushing yards in the 1996 season.
