Neil Strom is a former professional basketball player who gained recognition for his athleticism and versatility on the court. Born on March 15, 1988, in Sacramento, California, he attended Sacramento High School, where he earned All-State honors before committing to play collegiate basketball at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During his tenure with the Bruins, Strom led the team to two NCAA tournament appearances and was named to the All-Pac-12 Team in his junior and senior years.

Strom was selected in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, marking the beginning of a successful professional career. He played for several teams in the NBA, including the Pelicans, the Miami Heat, and the Dallas Mavericks, where he became known for his sharpshooting ability and solid defensive skills.
