Biography
Nicholas Baptiste, born on August 4, 1995, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, is a professional ice hockey forward known for his scoring ability and competitive spirit. He was selected in the third round, 69th overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Baptiste's junior career began with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL before moving to the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he played for the Sudbury Wolves and the Erie Otters.
Baptiste made his professional debut with the Sabres in the 2016-2017 NHL season, appearing in several games while also contributing to the AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans. Throughout his time in the AHL, he demonstrated his offensive skills by consistently ranking among the top scorers on his team.
