Nick Greenbacker is a professional basketball player known for his versatility and playmaking skills on the court. Born on March 15, 1995, in Seattle, Washington, he quickly rose through the ranks of youth basketball and gained nationwide attention during his high school career at Rainier Beach High School, where he led his team to a state championship. Greenbacker's exceptional performance earned him a scholarship to the University of Kansas, where he was a standout player for the Jayhawks from 2013 to 2017.
During his collegiate career, Greenbacker was named to the All-Big 12 First Team and helped lead his team to multiple NCAA tournament appearances, including a trip to the Final Four in 2016. He averaged over 15 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds per game, showcasing his ability to influence games both offensively and defensively. Following his graduation, Greenbacker declared for the NBA Draft and was selected in the second round by the Brooklyn Nets in 2017.
